K and K,
I love the input both of you have had on my life. I have been enriched and challenged in small ways and have seen little pieces of the puzzle look like they fit somewhere.

I have decided that our house guests have to go for my wife’s well being, as she is much more affected by the dynamics than I am. I asked that they get a car with in the next 30 days even if they have to sell their things. He can’t get to work w/out a car. Secondly, I want to set up an exit strategy soon and that they will not be thrown out on the street but to find more appropriate housing for their family and that it will take time to make the applications. I went for a long walk with the dog and thought mostly about this issue as I “saw” the pain in Kay’s eyes.

I am trying to put together what transpired this past week-end ( off the map ) in Arvada, Co. It was so different from the “Jesus” conferences I have attended lately. I had a hard time trying to explain this to my sister on Google Talk.

• At first all I seemed to hear is that is ok to be homosexual and that is is not sin. Actually, there is such an open forumn for discussion on this topic, with this group, that the Biggy sin of being gay can be overlooked or taken down a notch or two in favor of the interest of the heart and soul of that person. God does not hate fags, but rather desires a loving relationship with us all.

I am attending Off the Map in Denver today and tomorrow. This so cool because I was invited by Karl Wheeler whom I am currently for remodeling his home. I was invited by his gift to come to this event.

I am hanging out with Jim Henderson, Todd Hunter, David Kinnaman, Matt Casper, Sally Morgenthaler, Kathy Escobar and others at this two day event.

Especially when it comes to money. When my bank account is 0 so is my peace and well being. I have heard, “you’ll get through this bump in the road.” or” give in to the kingdom ,” or a bunch of other do-good solutions. I am captive to the machine of the corporate world still; I hate them.

I am angry and not feeling very “Peaceful.” My truck broke down, AT broke, $2300 repair, our car was having trouble starting and I am broke. I am ready to quit! What more can I do????????

Life has not been so peaceful lately. My truck broke down and needs a transmission, my friend from Lowes had a heart attack at age 23 and lost his job and appartment and has moved in myhouse with a wife and 3 small children. We loaned him $300 to buy a car from his aunt, which is a piece of junk and now we have no cash for food or gas for the rest of the month. And I am overwhelmed! The good thing is that we feel peaceabout our new family and the basic bills like water, natural gas, trash and mortgage are paid.Turtles are so slow but we have time to think.
